The concept of Kundalinî is a vast science that engages the intimate relationship between the transcendental Self (Purusha) and potential energy.  As it is understood within Eastern Tradition, the transcendental Self contains the life force of the universe, however this energy – unanimously subsistent and unable to be created nor destroyed – remains as dormant potential energy until realised and followed in awareness.  Therefore, in order to tap into the existent potential within and move toward well-being, there is a need to expand the layers of awareness and awaken the dormant energy that resides within.  With open Chakras, Prâna flows through Ida and Pingala Nâdî in balance; this in turn gives raise to the Kundalinî, a charge awakening all that lays dormant, potential energy now flowing up through the central Nâdî Sushumnâ, allowing for a level of liberation that reflects the union of the individual self with the transcendental Self.
